The longest study on adult development and life satisfaction was completed at Harvard by Robert Waldinger and his team. They were tracking 700 men over the course of 75 years.
The one thing they concluded is:
"Warmth of relationships throughout life have the greatest positive impact on 'life satisfaction'.
But let's talk about warmth in relationships, especially with our spouse after having kids.
Sleepless nights, overflowing laundry baskets, endless dinners can definitely put a strain on a marriage. You’re absolutely not alone if you’re feeling hostility, resentment or just bitterness in your relationship today.
Learning to connect with your partner is truly an art, and after having kids it becomes a very sophisticated art. It is so possible, you just need to learn how its done.
In todays episode we talk about connection with your husband and how to merge 2 family cultures together to create a connected family.
